Attention WordPress Users

Did you know that if your Contact-7 form processing plug-in is not up-to-date your contact form might not work properly. Actually, it might not show up at all.

I’ve seen this problem several times in the past year.

One business owner contacted me and was puzzled why their inquiries suddenly “dried up.”

Answer: their website form wasn’t working.

This is just one more reason to keep your WordPress plugins current at all times. If you aren’t going to do it, hire someone to do it for you.

If your website inquiries aren’t coming in like they normally do, the first thing is to test your inquiry form.

I also test my website forms once a month.

Contact forms at a website are too important to the success of your Internet marketing. When they are not working properly it’s a serious issue.

I always (yes, ALWAYS) use an external form processor, never the Contact-7 WordPress plugin. There are just to many potential issues.

Yes, I know… “but Chris, everyone uses it…”.

Not me, and my client’s forms always properly work.

For inquiry form processing I recommend using either JotForm or Cogneto Forms, Cogneto being my favorite.
