The Three “C’s” of Social Media
If you want more followers and more post engagement, you must post regularly and consistently. Post daily at both Facebook and Instagram if you can. At a minimum, post three times a week on both channels.
The more often you post at Facebook and Instagram, the more likely your posts will be seen by others. There are many algorithmic factors that determine how much reach a social post ultimately gets, but I’ll bet large that CONSISTENCY is one of them because I’ve seen it work first-hand.
There are two parts to creativity, a creative graphic or video, and your message. An eye-catching graphic that gets someone’s attention is the first part. It may take a little experimenting, or trial and error, but the right photo (or photos) makes or breaks a social media post. This is important if you are using paid advertising and “boosting” posts at Facebook.
What is the offer? Are you brand-building or selling something specific? What words are you using in your post? Does the graphic being used support the message? What is the goal of this social post? Does your message ask for some form of action? Maybe a visit to a special page at your website? Maybe an offer to download valuable information at your website, with a link to a landing page/offer.
